1. ELIGIBILITY

CAA Atlantic’s “Coast Tire 20 Years in Partnership Contest” contest (the “Contest”) sponsored by CAA Atlantic (The Sponsor) is open to people who meet the following requirements: you must (i) be a resident of Atlantic Canada, (ii) if you are under the age of eighteen (18) have had a parent or guardian eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of the draw read and accept the rules and regulations. Entrants are not eligible to participate in the Contest if they are: a) Employees or Directors of: (i) the Sponsor, (ii) any agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising or promotional agencies. b) a member of the household and/or immediate family of any of the above parties. For the purpose of these Contest rules, "immediate family" means husband, wife, spouse or same-sex partners, mother, father, brother, sister, son and/or daughter, whether or not they reside in the same household. The Sponsor shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof within a reasonable period of time may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to the Sponsor for the purpose of this Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant in its sole discretion, should any entry or entrant at any stage provide and/or contain untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information. All decisions regarding eligibility to enter this Contest will be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.

2. CONTEST PERIOD:

The contest begins on January 1, 2023 at 12:00:01 AM ADT and concludes December 31, 2023 at 11:59:59 PM ADT, the Contest Closing Date (hereafter referred to as the “Contest Period”). Monthly draws will begin in January 2023 and run from the first day of each month until the last day of each month. Grand prize draw will take place in January 2024 and will run from January 1st , 2023 to December 31st, 2023.

3. HOW TO ENTER

To enter, swipe your CAA membership card after receiving service or completing a purchase at Coast Tire & Auto Service to be entered into the eleven (11) monthly draws and one (1) grand prize draw. Valid membership number required. Entries will be declared invalid if they are late or incomplete. Entry into this Contest constitutes acceptance of these rules (the "Contest Rules"). Entries will only be accepted as described herein and will not be accepted by any other means. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules. 

4. PRIZES

Eleven (11) monthly prizes are available to be won, consisting of either a Coast Tire & Auto Service gift certificate or a set of four (4) Goodyear branded tires (the “Prize”).One (1) $7,500 CAA Travel Voucher is available to be won in the month of December, 2023 (the “Grand Prize”).

The Prize and the Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded, and may not be assigned, transferred, substituted exchanged, refunded or redeemed for cash value. CAA Atlantic reserves the right to substitute the Prize or the Grand Prize with an item of equivalent or greater retail value in the event that the Prize is unavailable due to circumstances beyond CAA Atlantic’s control.

5. NOTIFICATION AND QUALIFICATION OF SELECTED ENTRANTS

Selected entrants will be notified by phone or email via the name provided at the time of entry. No communication or correspondence will be entered into, except with selected entrants.

To be confirmed a Winner, the selected entrant must: 

·         (a) confirm compliance with these Contest Rules;

·         (b) accept the Prizes as awarded;

6. AWARDING OF PRIZES

Prizes will be made available in-branch to confirmed Winners. Selected entrants are subject to verification by CAA Atlantic and/or its designated representatives, in their sole discretion.

Refusal by an entrant to accept the Prize or Grand Prize or any part of the Prize or Grand Prize releases and forever discharges CAA Atlantic and its agents from all obligations related to the Prize or Grand Prize, including delivery. The Winner is solely responsible for all expenses which are not included in the Prize or Grand Prize description above.

7. GENERAL RULES

In order to be declared the winner (“Winner”) of the Prize or Grand Prize, the Winner must, within ten (10) days from the date of the Prize Notification, (i) complete, sign and return the Release Form to the Sponsor. The Winner will be forfeited if: (1) the Prize Notification is unanswered; (2) the Release is not returned or is returned unsigned; or (3) the Winner has not responded to the Prize Notification within ten (10) days.

By accepting a prize in this Contest, entrants’ consent to the use of their name, city of residence, voice, photograph, image or likeness in any publicity or advertisement carried out by CAA in connection with this Contest without any further compensation.
