1. ELIGIBILITY

CAA’s Pet Photo Contest (the “Contest”) sponsored by CAA Atlantic is open to people who meet the following requirements: you must (i) be a resident of Atlantic Canada, (ii) if you are under the age of eighteen (18) have had a parent or guardian eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of the draw read and accept the rules and regulations. Entrants are not eligible to participate in the Contest if they are: a) Employees or Directors of: (i) the Sponsor, (ii) any agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising or promotional agencies. b) a member of the household and/or immediate family of any of the above parties. For the purpose of these Contest rules, "immediate family" means husband, wife, spouse or same-sex partners, mother, father, brother, sister, son and/or daughter, whether or not they reside in the same household. The Sponsor shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof within a reasonable period of time may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to the Sponsor for the purpose of this Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant in its sole discretion, should any entry or entrant at any stage provide and/or contain untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information. All decisions regarding eligibility to enter this Contest will be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.

2. CONTEST PERIOD:

The contest begins on October 28, 2023 at 12:00:01 AM ADT and concludes November 2, 2023 at 11:59:59 PM ADT, the Contest Closing Date (hereafter referred to as the “Contest Period”).

3. HOW TO ENTER

To enter, post a photo of your pet in the comment section. Only entries in the Facebook comments will be eligible. No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this Contest. Digital file must be 10 megabytes or smaller, must be in JPEG, .jpg or .png format. No mechanically or electronically reproduced entries will be accepted. Entries become the property of Sponsor. Entries will be declared invalid if they are late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered, garbled, mechanically or electronically reproduced, or tampered with in any way. Entry into this Contest constitutes acceptance of these rules (the "Contest Rules").

Multiple entries are allowed per person.

Entries that are incomplete, late, lost, and/or irregular in any way or sent by an unauthorized method are automatically void and will not be eligible or accepted. Entries will only be accepted as described herein and will not be accepted by any other means.

By entering the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules.

4. PRIZES

One (1) prize is available to be won, consisting of a $100 Sobeys Gift Card, valued at $100 CAD (the “Prize”).

The Prize must be accepted as awarded, and may not be assigned, transferred, substituted exchanged, refunded or redeemed for cash value. CAA Atlantic reserves the right to substitute the Prize with an item of equivalent or greater retail value in the event that the Prize is unavailable due to circumstances beyond CAA Atlantic’s control.

5. NOTIFICATION AND QUALIFICATION OF SELECTED ENTRANTS

Selected entrants will be notified by Facebook Messenger via the name provided at the time of entry. No communication or correspondence will be entered into, except with selected entrants.

To be confirmed a Winner, the selected entrant must:

·        confirm compliance with these Contest Rules;

·        accept the Prize as awarded;

6. AWARDING OF PRIZES

Prize will be made available in-branch to confirmed Winner. Selected entrant is subject to verification by CAA Atlantic and/or its designated representatives, in their sole discretion.

Refusal by an entrant to accept the Prize or any part of the Prize releases and forever discharges CAA Atlantic and its agents from all obligations related to the Prize, including delivery. The Winner is solely responsible for all expenses which are not included in the Prize description above.

7. GENERAL RULES

In order to be declared the winner (“Winner”) of the Prize, the Winner must, within five (5) days from the date of the Prize Notification, (i) complete, sign and return the Release Form to the Sponsor. The Winner will be forfeited if: (1) the Prize Notification is unanswered; (2) the Release is not returned or is returned unsigned; or (3) the Winner has not responded to the Prize Notification within five (5) days.

By accepting a prize in this Contest, entrants consent to the use of their name, city of residence, voice, photograph, image or likeness in any publicity or advertisement carried out by CAA in connection with this Contest without any further compensation.
