Believe it or not, it was a work trip through the EarMarked Program, which is reserved for those travel agencies that have met Disney’s strict requirements and have demonstrated a high level of sales and maintain proficiency in Disney curated destination training.
We were able to see all the highlights of Walt Disney World including all top attractions.
When I first arrived, my favourite part was the hotel – Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was incredible, and I have a new love for giraffes. The giraffes were right there outside the hotel doors and my room had beautiful views of the Savannah featuring the majestic creatures.
This was my first visit to Disney World, and I jumped in with both feet.
The amazing parks, exciting characters from my childhood and fun rides were amazing, but I most enjoyed watching families reconnect and enjoy each other in a wholesome environment. I’m not sure who was having more fun – the adults or the children!
From the iconic Magic Kingdom Castle to the details while waiting in line, Disney left nothing out.
When I do it again, I will most definitely bring my family. I would like to stay longer next time.
My advice to anyone making the trip would be to only do one park per day. Park hopper is available after 2 p.m., and once it hits in Orlando heat, after being up since 7 a.m., I was exhausted and ready for a siesta or a break by the pool.
