Atlantic Canada’s Top Worst Roads Named

Saint John, NB - CAA Atlantic’s second Worst Roads campaign attracted 3,199 votes to identify the region’s Worst Roads. The campaign was launched in late March and wrapped up on April 24, 2012. Citizens from across Atlantic Canada were invited to vote for their Worst Road using an interactive web-based voting platform. In this campaign voters could only vote for one road on one occasion.

“This campaign will help to put a real focus on problem and dangerous road conditions in the region,” said Gary Howard of CAA. “By doing so we can actively engage all necessary levels of government to encourage repairs and changes. Last year’s campaign was very successful. To the credit of our 4 Provincial Governments, of the top 20 Worst Roads from 2011, 14 were repaired or are in the process of being repaired. Your government is listening to you”, said Howard.
